Finally home.

Our new offices reflect the identity of Atelier 99 and meet even the highest demands. They are human, open and don’t play games. They are built on real needs and for real people — no pretension, no pretense, just like us.

We wanted to create a place where we could grow. Professionally and humanly. We conceived the interior of our new offices as an open, bright and natural space, cleansed of unnecessary things and built on true materials and thoughtful details. No design fads, no corporate machinery.

From the beginning, we planned the interior layout to accommodate the colleagues and teams that will be growing. We completely rebuilt the original open space and connected it to the adjacent part of the building by punching a hole in the supporting reinforced concrete structure.

We didn’t want to differentiate — that’s why everyone has the same conditions and space: from height-adjustable tables to soundproof call boxes. Management sits at the very heart of the layout to be a natural part of the daily action. In addition to the offices, there is a large kitchen and a sample room with a state-of-the-art 3D printer.

We insisted on clean lines and tone-on-tone tuning. The main idea was to make them feel at home in the living room. We adapted soft colour tones, taller carpets with a cloud motif, comfortable sofas and the covers of all the conference chairs. A striking feature is the ribbing. This can be seen on the reception desk, furniture or coffee table bases. It is the interconnection of these details that determines the overall impression of the space.

Light and shadow play a key role. Horizontal glazed partitions bring in daylight and, combined with a neutral colour scheme, create an airy atmosphere. The contrasts here are not created by colours, but by the play of light on the texture of the wall tiles, ceilings and furniture.

The only colour in the interior is green. It forms a natural dominance of the space and at the same time the main colour accent enlivening an otherwise neutral space. People are the main colour bearers in our house — most often guests. We prefer to wear black and white.

The biggest challenge was not budget, time or technical pitfalls. As architects, designers and investors, our biggest struggle was to maintain our shared vision to the end. And what is the result? A casual yet professional space that breathes the A99 vibe on you. Here, light reflects off the subtle structures and the greenery changes throughout the day. An airy feel is created by the exposed columns and open ceilings — no unnecessary contrast, just calm, fresh and an undisturbed space for focused work.

Our new offices are a reflection of how we work and think. They’re not for show — they have a much deeper purpose. They serve the people who move Atelier 99 forward every day.
